<>Long ago, there lived a king and a queen. They had only 1 child, and his name was Jeremiah. The day he was born, nobles from all across Europe came to bring him gifts, one of which was a golden necklace engraved with his name. That night, 2 burglars came and stole Jeremiah, by the order of their king. Their king and Jeremiah's father were bitter rivals, so King Comotos, the king that ordered the kidnapping, planned to kill Jeremiah.
<>King Comotos had a heart as cold as ice;unlike King Jacob, Jeremiah's father, whom had a heart of gold. Anyway the 2 thieves continued, not knowing what would happen. Unfortunately for them, King Jacob found out, and he was furious. He sent many of his knights to find his son, and once the burglars found out they started running toward their king's castle, unknowingly dropping Jeremiah. The knights searched for hours, the gave up all hope of ever finding him. When Jeremiah awakened and noticed he wasn't in his crib, he started crying, and a young couple noticed him and adopted him.
<>He grew up living with them until he was five years old. At that time he was taken to train to become a knight. He took his training very seriously and passed all his tests, but unfortunately they wouldn't allow him to go to the top class until he was of proper age. So he trained until he was fifteen, the proper age. At that time all new knights were to present themselves before the king. Jeremiah did and King Jacob thought he was so good, that Jeremiah became his new best knight, which disappointed Sir Lance, his previous best knight, so Lance came up with a devious plot.
<>So Lance went to talk with one of the darkest witches of that time, Zera. He made a deal with Zera that if he gave her two hundred pieces of gold, she would place a curse on Jeremiah, a terrible, awful curse. So Sir Lance went and got the gold, which was most of his whole fortune, and gave it to Zera. Then she worked her magic on Jeremiah, so he fell gravely ill. Most all of the kingdom was worried, him being King Jacob's best knight. A doctor came to check on Jeremiah, afterward saying that only a miracle could save him.
<>A few days later, it was the day that the curse was to kill him, and everyone was gathered around him. He was unconscious, and in a lot of pain. Even though he was unconscious, his adoptive mother told him that he wasn't actually her son, that she found him. Although it was hard to hear her above his heavy breathing, he heard her. Then a miracle happened and he was well again. To this day, no one knows how it happened, but it did.
<>After a while King Jacob realized that his best knight, Jeremiah, was also his son. So he, and his adoptive parents, were to live in the palace. After a few weeks, King Jacob found out Sir Lance's plot, and was going to execute him. Jeremiah told him not to execute him, so King Jacob instead threw him into the dungeon. When King Jacob died years later, Jeremiah became king, and he was a kind king, just like his father. From that point on, Jeremiah and his family lived happily ever after.
